I loved how Oliver Joyce put out the new features, such as the new create-a-gladiator where you can choose between races (man, skeleton, zombie, yeti etc.) and how you could shift your gladiators height and weight. I'm the guy who made those old Flash games Swords and Sandals all those years ago (remember 'Gladiator,gladiator, gladiator' ? ) So, I'm still making them! Here's my latest, Swords and Sandals Pirates - now available on Steam.

A little background on me - I've been making the Swords and Sandals game series since way back in 2006. They became pretty popular on the old Flash portals, Newgrounds and Kongrate etc, popular enough for me to build four sequels and a few spinoffs. Eventually I parted ways with the company I used to work with and went independent, now I build them as a solo developer! Mainly part time and at night, with a new baby it can be a real challenge to get them complete, but like any indie game developer will tell you, it's a labour of love!

If you have some nostalgic memories of playing the classic S&S games in your high school classroom (I get many emails from people who say they did this!), you may enjoy my latest edition to the S&S franchise.
